On Tuesday, October 4 in the afternoon, we will meet online to share methodologies and tools for the commons, in a follow-up session to the work done by Transitioning Ecosystem <\/a><\/p>\n

\n Transitioning Ecosystem are a series of sessions driven by the Cooperative Activity Group (GAC ) Transitioning <\/a> from femProcomuns, to work collectively on challenges related to key areas of the economy: energy, territory, water, food, care, housing, volunteering, methodologies …, from the point of view of production, supply and environmental impacts, with a common vision (guided by the Commons Sustainability model <\/a> but with a desire to learn and incorporate aspects of other models and artefacts) and with the participation of various actors, from Catalonia and elsewhere.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the commons <\/strong> socioeconomic model, people self-organize to solve needs and challenges <\/strong> from a community <\/strong> and sustainability logic. <\/strong>. The commons is a model of social and economic organization alongside the market and the state. In addition to the many cases of production, reproduction and management of the traditional commons that have been sustained over the years, in recent decades technological, urban and cultural projects have been launched, some of which use free and open licences, with distributed and democratic models of production, reproduction, management and decision-making. They are different projects from each other, but they share some principles and qualities.<\/p>\n

It is in this context that from femProcomuns (integral cooperative of users and workers) we promote this meeting, to evolve and open the network of intercooperation created and the learnings made, in the last 5 years, around different spaces in Catalonia and elsewhere.<\/p>\n

The meeting takes place within the framework of the Commons Ecosystem Working Group: femProcomuns<\/a> (Catalonia), Remix the Commons<\/a> (Francophonie), B.A.Balex<\/a> (France), Projet Collectif<\/a> (Quebec) and Solidarius Italia<\/a> (Italy).
